From the fire of Tiamat to the hearths of dwarven halls, these are dishes worthy of adventurers.
A Feast Worthy of Heroes
Step beyond the table and into the world of Faerûn, where every feast tells a story.
In Dungeons & Dragons, food isn’t just sustenance… it’s atmosphere, culture, and character. The smoky richness of a dwarven stew, the delicate balance of an elven salad, the fire and heat of a dragon’s domain… each dish reflects the world it comes from.
This collection brings that world into your kitchen. Three recipes, each inspired by iconic corners of D&D lore, designed not just to taste good, but to feel like they belong.
🐉 1. Tiamat’s Dragonfire Chili

🌌 4. The Astral Plane Pavlova
Soft, weightless, and quietly otherworldly… this is a dessert that feels as though it exists outside of time.
Inspired by the Astral Plane, a realm where nothing ages and everything drifts. This pavlova is built on contrast. A crisp shell that gives way to a cloud-like centre, topped with dark berries and soft cream that seem to hover rather than sit.
It’s delicate, a little dramatic, and best served when you want something that feels just slightly unreal.
Ingredients
Salad
- 4 egg whites (room temp)
- 220g caster sugar
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- 1 tsp cornflour
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Berry Compote
- 1 cup frozen or fresh blackberries
- ½ cup blueberries
- 2 tbsp icing sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Topping
- 300ml thickened cream
- 1 tbsp icing sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla
Optional (but recommended for the vibe):
- Edible silver or pearl shimmer
- Fresh blackberries
- Micro herbs or edible flowers
Method
Pavlova
- Preheat oven to 120°C (fan forced 100°C)
- Beat egg whites to soft peaks
- Gradually add sugar, beating until glossy and stiff
- Fold in vinegar, cornflour, and vanilla
- Spoon onto baking paper, shaping into a soft nest
- Bake for 1 hour 15 mins, then turn oven off and cool inside
Compote
- Combine berries, sugar, and lemon juice in a saucepan
- Simmer for 10–15 minutes until thickened
- Cool completely

- Storytelling: Enhance the dining experience by weaving in tales of epic battles, enchanted lands, and legendary quests that relate to each dish. This not only entertains your guests but also makes the meal a memorable adventure.
- Interactive Elements: Consider having recipe cards or menus designed like ancient scrolls. This small detail can immerse your guests even further into the fantasy theme and make them feel like true heroes on a quest.
This isn’t just dinner. It’s world-building.
